you should know by now that my name is tyler jay ramsden, but please call me tyler, ty. i like them much better! although my fake i.d. says differently, i'm really twenty-two years old. cool, huh? i guess i could be classified as a townie, but i prefer not to be labeled. i grew up in the beautiful city of los angeles, but i certainly like this town much more! want to know how i act? three words can tell you that: i'm quiet, caring, and trustworthy. yeah, i'm pretty amazing, aren't i? some say i look just like josh hartnett, though i can't see it! jealous? i know. just look at how glamorous my life really is:
I wouldn't really call Tyler's life "glamorous". He has already experienced a lot for his age. On December 26th, he was born into a lower middle class family. His father was a truck driver while his mother worked as a waitress at the nearby arby's. He was the only child because his parents couldn't afford to have another child. His father was an alcoholic and almost always came home drunk. His mother was caring and did her best to make sure Tyler was raised well. And she did a good job because he always used his manners. His mother had to work hard both at her job and with Tyler. They didn't have any other relatives such as grandmas, aunts or uncles. All they had was their little circle of friends. Tyler's first six years of life were decent. They had enough money to get by and occasionally get a new videogame or clothes. But things started to go downhill around the when Tyler was seven.
Wednesday, April 18th, Tyler's father was supposed to come home. He never showed. His mother didn't think too much of it since that has happened before. He would probably show the next day. Two days pass and he didn't come home yet. Finally, she receives a call. It was her husband's boss. Apparently they found his truck on the side of the road, but they didn't find him. Two weeks later, his body was found in a nearby river. To this day, no one really knows what happened. All they know was that he was murdered, but there are no strong leads. His mother was broken for the next four years. When Tyler was twelve, his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. She lived another two years before she passed away. With both of his parents deceased, Tyler was sent to live with his mother's best friend and her family. He didn't talk much. He just did his school work and worked. Once he graduated, he moved out and lived with one of his guy friends for a year. When he was twenty though, his friend was arrested for drug possession and because Tyler was living with him, the police immediately assumed he was in on it too, though that wasn't true. He was released when they realized he didn't know. Tyler then tried to find a decent job. He managed to get the manager position at a local shoe store. It payed decently and he then got himself a small apartment.
Tyler never had a really successful love life. He has had girlfriends, though he broke up with all of them cause he just didn't like them after a while. He isn't looking for a girlfriend, but if the right one comes along then he will go for it. But he isn't the type who is always looking for a companion. He is used to being alone. He has been alone for most of his life.ava , sixteen , central .
What did he just do... He let the girl he loved slip out of his hands by telling her he wasn't ready to get back together. Well that was the stupidest thing he ever said. Of course he was ready. I mean, if he really did love her he'd give her another chance. But no. He was too scared he'll mess up again, or they'll get into another big fight, like the one they had recently. Tyler hated drama, especially when it involved other people he cared about (even if they might've been the reason for all the drama). So the question is, what is Tyler going to do about all this? He was going to the airport, and tell her how much she really meaned to him. Tyler had to admit. That was a cheesy thing to do, but he didn't want her to leave and never come back. Who knows? With her schedule, he might never see her again. This was his last chance to make things right before it was too late. He would understand if she didn't want to be with him anymore, but as long as she heard what he had to say, he'll be fine.
There was one problem. He didn't know when she was leaving. So he did some research. There were always rumors and gossip about celebrities even about the littlest things like when they were scheduled to arrive at the airport. Luckily he found out the date and time. He usually didn't rely on these websites, but this was the only place he could think of. Her flight was scheduled to leave at seven, but everyone was told to arrive two hours earlier. So Tyler hitched a ride from his friend, who was going that way anyway, and arrived at about five thirty-five pm. He thanked his friend for the ride, and started walking towards the doors. He saw many kids outside, as if they were waiting for someone. He then noticed a little girl holding a poster of Pandora. His mind clicked right away. Of course they were all here to catch a glimpse of the famous popstar. All of a sudden, people started staring and pointing at him. It got to the point when a girl a little younger than him came up to him. Hey, aren't you Pandora's boyfriend? You two were seen at the river not too long ago, Tyler shook his head. No that's not me, he said, hoping his answer was convincing. It was crazy how they recognized him. But he didn't want to be sucked into the media.
At that moment, he wished he put on a hoodie instead. He didn't want to get noticed. But unfortunately his jacket was not equipped with a hoodie. He sighed to himself, and made his way towards the help desk. Excuse me, Miss. But would you mind telling me where the VIP room is? he asked. He knew celebrities waited in there, so they wouldn't get attacked by fans. He was hoping she'll tell her where it was, because they sometimes didn't tell strangers, to protect the celebrities. She nodded, and told him where it was. He smiled, and thanked her, and walked in the direction that she told him to go. He picked up his pace a bit, hoping he wouldn't miss her, even if her flight still wasn't for an hour and fifteen minutes. The help desk person told him the right directions, and soon enough, he was standing in front of the door, talking to the bodyguard. He told him it was Tyler, and hoped that he'd let him in. The body guard should've remembered him, from the time when they dated before. Tyler would come and greet her after her concert or something. Fortunately, the body guard let him in. So far, things were going well, and hopefully it still will.
There she was. Her legs pulled up, her arms wrapped around them. Hey Dora, he said, one end of his lips tugging up a bit. He took a few steps closer to her. I came to say goodbye, he said, his brain completely freezing. He knew what he wanted to say, but he didn't know how to say it aloud. He then stopped right in front of where she was sitting, and took her hands. He pulled her up so that she was standing. But I also came here to do this. And he kissed her. It was either that, or try and somehow explain why he actually was there. But kissing her was much simpler than trying to make his words sound right.
