you should know by now that my name is stevie nicole martinez, but please call me stev, martinez. i like them much better! although my fake i.d. says differently, i'm really twenty years old. cool, huh? i guess i could be classified as a celebrity, but i prefer not to be labeled. i grew up in the beautiful city of santa monica, california, but i certainly like this town much more! want to know how i act? three words can tell you that: i'm naive, unpredictable, and fiesty. yeah, i'm pretty amazing, aren't i? some say i look just like nina dobrev, though i can't see it! jealous? i know. just look at how glamorous my life really is:
lainey emilee tucker grew up in a small town in north carolina with strict, played-by-the-rules parents raising her. lainey wasn't one to party or drink or cause havoc, she was a preacher's daughter and had more respect for herself than any of the girls she grew up with. she had never been out of state until she graduated at age seventeen and moved to los angeles to pursue her dreams of becoming a dancer. the only way she was allowed to go was to perform ballet and no other kind of dancing that could reflect on her and her parents as bad people. growing up, lainey was taught to use her manners and the only places she spent time at were her home and school - the library on some locations. lainey - although she acted happy - wanted to live a normal life filled with excitement and a rush of energy everytime she was on the verge of doing something bad. when she moved to los angeles with her younger sister, vienna, lainey met toby martinez, a frontman for a local band that played at the house of blues one time or another. toby was everything that lainey wanted - filled with excitement, thrill, and a rush of energy. the only problem was, lainey's parents wouldn't let her live down the fact that los angeles could be taken away from her instantly and she'd be shipped back to north carolina in a blink of an eye. on a mere journey to nowhere, toby and lainey were married in vegas with lainey's sister, vienna by their side as a witness.
almost a year and a half later, stevie nicole martinez was brought into the world in santa monica, california on september seventeenth. before lainey gave birth to stevie, she was emancipated once her parents found out about her secret marriage and the baby on the way. toby eventually stopped touring and only played local shows after their daughter was born. with no place to go, the young couple settled into a small house in santa monica where they planned on raising stevie. when stevie turned six, her parents were popular in hollywood - her dad was still playing in his old band and her mom was a talent scout. to stevie, her family was as perfect as they came and she loved their tight knited clan. as she began to grow older, stevie was always tagging along with her mom on talent auditions and before you knew it, stevie was belting out lines one by one nad memerizing the lines others were supposed to. at age ten, stevie was going from casting call to casting call across the country as her dad traveled and her mom sometimes tagged along. vienna, lainey's sister, was a fun loving, young adult who took care of stevie when her parents were away on business. stevie began to bond with vienna the more and more she came around. on august seventh, stevie remembered at age eleven, vienna had drug her all over los angeles shopping and getting ice cream and to and from fun places for a young kid like her.
it wasn't until stevie could hear uncontrollable sobs coming from the guest bedroom that she knew something was wrong. that night stevie's world came crashing down and she would never forget that moment. lainey and toby martinez died in a plane crash after the engine caught fire and the whole plane went down. stevie was her mom's whole world and her dad's shining star and now she had no one left but her young aunt to care for her. at that point, stevie lost her good girl ways and became the obnoxious teen filled with attitude many see gracing their televisions today. like a miracle from her mother, she landed a gig on a cw show called "bitten" where she played ava, a fiesty cheerleader who at all costs made the lead character's life hell. the character wasn't a far cry from the person she was beginning to become. she always dreamed the day she made it big, she'd be crowned hollywood's golden girl and america's sweetheart, but she soon ditched the golden act and became the worst possible version of herself. at a young age of eighteen when the show first started, stevie was embracing her fame and using it to her advantage. she was on the lookout for bad press and did everything she could to find it. from dancing around in her bedroom singing to hannah montana, stevie was now shedding that image and dancing around on tables and staying out partying all night. surprisingly, no one threatened to kick her off the show and she figured they liked her as she was, it gave the show popularity and higher ratings.
now at age twenty, her aunt isn't much older than her which is why she continues to live with her in los angeles as she reprises her role as ava in her show, "bitten" which airs on the cw weekly. now that's she's been doing work for the cw the past two years, production asked her to do a movie, where she stars as emma taylor. a focused, young college attendee in los angeles who desperately needs a date to her younger sister's wedding back home in colorado. since her break up with fiancee, dylan, her family is extra hard on her to bring a date to the wedding. then comes ryan costello - aka her date who she's done everything to convince to come with her back home. at first, it's all just a skit but then when her family puts the pressure on, the two began to fall in love. at first, stevie was a bit skeptical about doing the movie - act with kota didonato?! hell no. but then, she figured it could be fun and give her more of a reason to go out and party and get drunk and then get talked about the next week in people magazine.mariah , 16 , pacific .
